Introducing the world’s most awarded airline.
However you decide to get to Fiji, you can be sure of a luxurious and comfortable experience. The sky really is the limit when it comes to Singapore Airlines, which gives you the world through exemplary service. Customers come first, thanks to brilliant cabin staff and a deeply rooted company culture that has prioritised passengers for decades.
Since its beginnings in 1947, Singapore Airlines has flown ahead of the crowd when it comes to service. Singapore Airlines makes every customer feel special by finding out exactly what makes them feel at home. On every journey.
It’s no accident that Singapore Airlines’ cabin crew are outstanding: the airline operates a rigorous selection process, then trains, supports, motivates and rewards its crew, in order to guarantee sky-high service. In fact, Singapore Airlines schools its fresh recruits for twice as long as the industry average. Whatever you need onboard your plane, just ask – the attentive cabin team really are there to help.
The world’s most awarded airline has garnered accolades from industry heavyweights such as SkyTrax – which named it Best Airline in Asia and Best Business Class Airline Seat in 2016 – and publishing Titans such as The Telegraph, which also named it Best Asian Airline in 2016.
With an average aircraft age of just over seven years, Singapore Airlines operates one of the youngest fleets of any airline. New aircraft, including the A380 and the A350, are more efficient and also more reliable, meaning that fewer takeoffs are delayed and more arrivals are on time. Customers can rely on a consistent experience every time they travel.
On the ground…
Fly Business Class or First Class from Heathrow and the luxury will begin before takeoff, thanks to Singapore Airlines’ SilverKris lounge at Terminal 2, whose ‘home from home’ philosophy is realised in relaxed spaces inspired by living areas, dining rooms and kitchens (albeit very stylish ones). Work effectively and comfortably in the productivity pods, admire the artworks on display, enjoy freshly prepared Asian and Western dishes – or just sink into one of the signature Singapore Airlines armchairs and relax…
In the air…
Then there’s the onboard pampering, which begins in Economy class and rockets sky-high in the Suites…
Economy has always felt anything but with Singapore Airlines, which was the first airline to introduce free drinks, meal options and entertainment choices to Economy flights back in 1970. Since then, the airline has never compromised on offering premium comfort at great-value prices.
Flying Economy won’t equate to bruised knees with Singapore Airlines, whose cabins are designed to give passengers plenty of room – wherever they’re sitting. Unlike some other airlines – which squeeze an extra seat into each aisle, making long-haul journeys less enjoyable – Singapore Airlines gives everyone the space they need. In the New Economy Class, an innovative seat design provides more legroom and 115° of recline so you can relax and sleep. Preferred Seats, near the exits, benefit from extra legroom and are hotly sought after.
Singapore Airlines leaves nothing to chance when it comes to comfort: an International Panel of Chefs consults on menus and dishes are taste-tested in a simulated pressurised cabin, so that they taste exactly as they should at 35,000 feet. Traditional touches from the golden era of flying remain, including curated wines and cocktails, such as the iconic Singapore Sling, and refreshing hot towels before takeoff and landing.
Don’t worry if you forgot your book en route to the airport, Singapore Airlines’ KrisWorld inflight entertainment system puts 1,000 options – movies, television programmes, music, games and apps – at your disposal. The 11-inch console screen is the widest in its class. Access the Internet, send texts and multimedia messages on all flights from London Heathrow.
Extra choice, extra legroom, extra peace and quiet, extra productivity and extra tasty: flying Premium Economy with Singapore Airlines will have you feeling utterly spoiled from takeoff to touchdown. The perks begin before you even fly, thanks to the clever Book the Cook service…
Don’t be surprised if you want to take your seat home with you when you disembark the plane: it’s as comfy as can be, thanks to its extra width – 19.5inches – and in-built calf- and foot-rest. Feeling sleepy? Hit recline (up to eight inches) and maximise that 38-inch seat pitch.
Premium Economy Class means a spacious 2-4-2 cabin with stowage space, so you can keep your laptop, headphones and other essentials close by. Each seat has two USB ports, a reading lamp and power supply. Enjoy more than 1,000 entertainment choices on the wide console, with noise-cancelling headphones.
The Premium Economy Book the Cook service lets you reserve your main course up to 24 hours before you fly. Alternatively, pick from three delicious meal choices onboard – including Singaporean, Asian and international flavours – and add a glass or two of fine wine or champagne.

Whether you’re travelling for business or leisure, everything must go as planned. Like the meal you reserved with Book the Cook, and the uninterrupted sleep you’re looking forward to on your fully-flat bed. So you’re wide awake, refreshed and ready for the day ahead as soon as you land.
Handcrafted from Scottish leather and diamond-stitched, our 72cm seat is one of the widest Business Class seats in the skies. Try two new seating positions – the Lazy Z, which keeps your weight centred and balanced, or the Sundeck, which is as comfy as it sounds. Rest assured that you’ll sleep well – each seat transforms into a 6.5 ft fully flat bed, with a cushioned headboard, linen, duvet and pillows.
Book the Cook & Entertainment
Reserve your signature main course up to 24 hours before you fly. Dine in a restaurant setting with full table service and food-paired wines. Sit back, relax, put on your noise cancelling headphones and immerse yourself in over 1,000 entertainment options. Need to stay in touch? All of our flights from London Heathrow offer internet connectivity and text messaging.
First Class & Suites
Depending on which flight you choose, if you’re flying at the front of the plane, you’ll either find yourself in Suites or First Class.
Suites, designed by French luxury yacht designer Jean-Jacques Coste, are individual cabins with its own sliding door and window blinds to give you all the privacy you want. If you get tired of the Dom Pérignon, Krug, caviar, fine wines and gourmet meals the crew will deploy your standalone full-sized bed. If you’re sitting in the central Suites, you can create the world’s first double bed in the sky.
Enjoy world-beating attention to detail in Singapore Airlines’ first-class cabins, where treats include your favourite blend of tea, breakfast in bed or an extra-wide seat that’s fashioned from top to toe (yep, even the footrest) in hand-stitched leather. Enjoy gourmet food devised by top global chefs in a restaurant-style setting, with full table service and sommelier-selected vintages to match the food (and altitude). Post-meal, make the most of the extended curved partitions that provide privacy and kick back in your plush seat to watch a movie on the 24-inch screen, with your Bose noise-cancelling headphones plugged in.
Singapore Stopover Holiday
Make the journey part of the adventure by factoring in a stop-off in Singapore. Opt for Singapore Airlines’ discounted Singapore Stopover Holiday programme and you can pick from a range of stylish hotels, enjoy admission to more than 15 of Singapore’s favourite tourist attractions, gad about for free on the SIA Hop-on Bus and more.
Changi Airport has more awards than we’ve had hot (inflight) dinners: no wonder, when you factor in its 360 retail outlets, free 24-hour cinemas, five themed indoor and outdoor gardens, beauty and wellness offerings, kids’ playgrounds, swimming pools, food courts, dizzying choice of bars, restaurants and cafés and other distractions – spread across three impressive terminals. If you have at least five hours in transit, get a taste of Singapore with one of Singapore Airlines’ free 2.5-hour guided tours, which depart daily at regular times.
Free Singapore Tour
If your connection in Singapore is 5.5 hours or more, make sure you take advantage of one of two free tours showcasing the sights, sounds and colors of Singapore.
If your transit is 5.5 hours or more, add the free Heritage Tour to your itinerary. And if it’s 6 hours or more, you can enjoy the City Sights Tour. Each tour is 2.5 hours long, and jointly organised by Singapore Airlines, Singapore Tourism Board and Changi Airport.
