Singapore’s first ever coffee festival kicks off on the 9th June for three days at the world famous F1 Pit Building on Republic Boulevard.
Singapore has come to the fore in recent years as one of the world’s top foodie havens and that includes gourmet coffee and local kopi and now, the powers that be have decided to share Singapore’s coffee culture with the world! This is for ‘coffee lovers and drinkers who want to learn more about what goes into making a good cup of coffee.’
At the Singapore Coffee Festival you’ll learn the inside skinny from master baristas, there are lots and lots of specialist roasts and blends to taste and buy from all over the world, you can sample cool café cakes and join in with this celebration of Singapore’s rich and vibrant ‘kaffeeklatsch’.
If that wasn’t enough, you can take part in the home barista challenge showcases, hear great talks from industry experts and learn about Singapore’s traditional kopitiam culture that arrived here centuries before Starbucks!
A VIP Lounge and a live music stage featuring some awesome local talent top off a fantastic day out celebrating Singapore’s commitment to what is known in Arabic as qahhwat al-bun, or ‘the wine of the bean’.
One-day tickets start from just S$18 and include access to the interactive workshops, lab sessions and the music stage and an exclusive SCF tote bag full of goodies!
