Mizuma Gallery

22 Lock Road #01-34
Gillman Barracks
Singapore 108939

Another member of the Gillman Barracks collective, the Mizuma Gallery was conceived by Sueo Mizuma, first in Tokyo and then Beijing, as a promoter of Asian but more specifically Japanese artists and he along with his team continue to ‘discover, support and introduce young Japanese and Asian Artists to the international art scene.’

To this end, the Mizuma Gallery exhibits at many of the world’s most important art fairs including ARCO in Madrid, Frieze in London, the Armory Show in New York and the Hong Kong Art Fair.

Mr Mizuma supports artists whose works offer a critique of contemporary consumer society and artists on display include the world-famous Ai Weiwei, Aida Makoto, Yoshitaka Amano, Yamaguchi Akira, Manabu Ikeda and Akino Kondoh.

The Mizuma Gallery sits happily in Singapore’s most creative arts hub and is a major player in promoting the eastern contemporary art scene all over the world.
