The Marina Bay Sands is one of the world’s iconic hotels and the three 55-storey towers are connected by one of the world’s best observation decks almost 200 metres in the sky.
Designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie, the 1.2 hectare space-age deck could accommodate the Eiffel Tower on its side or you could park almost five Singapore Airlines A380 jumbo jets!
Opened in June 2010, it can host almost 4,000 people and every single one of them is afforded the most sensational 360° views of Singapore including the bay itself, the Wonder Full light, laser and water show, the futuristic SuperTrees complex, the stunning colour of Gardens by the Bay and all the way out into the Singapore Strait, one of Asia’s busiest shipping routes.
Fifty-seven floors up you’ll find fine dining restaurants including Sky on 57 and CÉ LA VI, one of Singapore’s best rooftop bars. Not only that, there’s lush trees and plants as well as the longest elevated swimming pool in the world. The infinity-edged pool is 150 metres long although it’s only open to guests of the hotel. Even if you can’t swim in it, it is a stunning sight to see.
SkyPark is a unique and unforgettable Singapore experience that absolutely shouldn’t be missed!
