Kings Park Indigenous Heritage Tours

Kings Park & Botanical Garden
Fraser Avenue
Kings Park WA 6005

Kings Park is one of the world’s largest inner city parks at 401 ha and attracts more than six million people every year.

It is home to a wonderful collection of Western Australian plants, flowers and trees (including a 750 year-old boab tree) and it overlooks the stunning Swan River, but the star turn is the indigenous tours.

You’ll learn all about the Wadjuk people who have been in continuous settlement in the area for at least 35,000 years as well as the bush tools that have been found that date back almost 70,000 years.

You will hear the ancient yet fascinating Dreamtime story of the Nyoongar people and get some tried and tested bush survival tips in Western Australia’s most popular tourist spot.
