Introducing the Singapore Grand Prix 2019

The world’s most exciting night race celebrates its twelfth edition this year. Here’s an overview of what to expect from the exhilarating event…

‘This race is always a highlight of the season: a great city, which looks really spectacular under the lights with the tricky street circuit below – my favourite kind of track to drive.’

Lewis Hamilton, 5-time FIA Formula 1® Drivers’ World Champion & Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsports Driver.

The world’s most exciting night race celebrates its twelfth edition this year. The FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2019 will light up the Lion City between 20–22 September 2019, attracting the fastest drivers on the planet – plus a powerhouse lineup with more than 100 hours of entertainment that includes Swedish House Mafia, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gwen Stefani, Fatboy Slim, Hans Zimmer, Toots and The Maytals and many more*.

Prepare to be thrilled

The world’s only full Formula 1® night race – and Asia’s only Formula 1® street circuit – has delivered high-octane thrills, visual fireworks and on- and off-track adventures since its dazzling 2008 debut. It’s arguably one of the most exciting races of the Formula 1® season, thanks to the Marina Bay Street Circuit’s made-for-Instagram good looks and driver-testing technical challenges – plus the electric atmosphere that accompanies after-dark races. Add in balmy, tropical weather, the city’s iconic architecture, world-class performers, an array of incredible choices for food, drink and celebrations, and you’re left with one of the most spectacular events in the racing calendar.
