If the 2018 FIFA World Cup has left you lingering with a severe case of football fever, fear not: the International Champions Cup will stage three matches in Singapore in late July. The Cup spans 27 matches held in Europe, US and Singapore, with 18 teams battling it out fiercely for victory.
Singapore’s National Stadium will play host on 26, 28 and 30 July 2018. Watch world-famous Euro-champs Arsenal (England), Atlético de Madrid (Spain) and Paris Saint-Germain (France) lock horns in a round-robin trio of standoffs, with kick-off at 7.30pm each night.
The National Stadium is one of Singapore’s sporting treasures: with a capacity of 55,000, it’s the city’s largest all-weather sports and events venue (and the largest domed structure in the world). It sits within the dazzling 13-hectare Singapore Sports Hub, whose lures include an Olympic-sized aquatic centre, a watersports centre, a multi-purpose arena, the Singapore Sports Museum and a sports library. Don’t worry if you forgot to pack your favourite sportswear – the Hub is also home to the Kallang Wave shopping centre. Music-lovers, take note: the Stadium also regularly plays host to platinum-record performers. But back to the football…

30 July 2018: Paris Saint-Germain vs Atlético de Madrid
Since each match will last around two hours, you’ll need fuel for all that cheering – grab some food and drink from the Stadium’s concession stands. Post-match, continue the fun at Clarke Quay, whose buzzing Fountain Square will provide the setting for the Cup’s House of Football. Expect pop-ups, special events, photo opportunities, competitions, games, food, live music and more. You might even get to meet and greet your football heroes from the three clubs.
