This year marks the 20th anniversary of Book the Cook: Singapore Airline’s pre-order meal service. Through Book the Cook, passengers are able to pre-order their main meals from a range of options up to 24 hours before the flight. This perk is offered in Suites, First Class and Business Class, and for all meal services except Continental breakfast and refreshments. Passengers can also enjoy a Premium Economy Book the Cook service.
Singapore Airlines was the first carrier to introduce the option of pre-ordering meals and has also led the way with world-famous chef collaborations.
Linking up with not one but eight of the world’s finest chefs, including Michelin-star winners Carlo Cracco, Georges Blanc and Yoshihiro Murata, Singapore Airlines formed its International Culinary Panel (ICP). The ICP develops the mouth-watering dishes served on board and the menus reflect the airline’s diverse destinations and the cultures and cuisines of each chef. Thanks to this award-winning panel of top chefs, menus are regularly updated with new culinary creations and flavour-packed global ingredients.
